Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By using the site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use any payment method you submit.

You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to breach its security, scraping at scale, interfering with its operation, or using it to impersonate someone else.

Listings on our site are an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer. Your order becomes a contract only when we send you an order confirmation email. Up to that point we may decline an order — for example because the item is out of stock, the price was listed in error, or the order looks fraudulent.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.

We ship from our Colombia and California roasteries. Estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout and on each shipping confirmation; they are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package as delivered.

If your order is delayed, damaged, or never arrives, contact us within 30 days of the ship date and we'll make it right.

Sealed merch and brew gear may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll cover return shipping within the United States.

Because roasted coffee is perishable, we don't accept returns on opened bags — but we stand behind every bag we ship. If you're not happy with a roast, tell us why and we'll replace it, credit your account, or refund the order. We call that the reroast guarantee.

If you sign up for a recurring coffee subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the cadence you select until you cancel. You can pause, skip, or cancel at any time from your account. Cancellations made before the next billing date take effect immediately; cancellations made after that date apply to the following cycle.

The Brewtopia name, logo, photography, packaging artwork, and editorial content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may share short excerpts with attribution and a link back to our site; everything else requires written permission.

When you post a review or tag us on social, you keep ownership of what you submit. You grant Brewtopia a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and reshare it in connection with our business. Don't submit anything that's unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.

The site and the products are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brewtopia disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers — in those places, our liability is limited only to what the law allows.

To the extent permitted by law, Brewtopia's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or with a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
